Welcome to the booking site for the RYA East Cruising Conference 2025.

This event is designed for skippers, crews and anyone interested in cruising activity, especially those on the East coast. The day offers a wide choice of workshops and breakout sessions covering a huge range of subjects, including, but not limited to; the historic Pioneer Trust, weather forecasting, passage planning for the Thames, assistive technology for the visually impaired, scientific information on anti-fouling, the work of the Essex Police Marine Unit and a live life-raft inflation. A range of exhibitors will also be in attendance, including the RNLI, NCI, Cruising Association, Essex Marine Police and the Coastguard.

The programme has been developed this year to allow for more workshops and interactive sessions and less time in the large conference room. Spaces are limited for all session so please book early to ensure you get your first choices.

The ticket price includes a comprehensive buffet lunch and plenty of tea and coffee. Please join us at this inspiring venue for a great day of activity and the opportunity to meet like-minded people from across the region. Please see the full agenda for further information.

Terms and Conditions for RYA East Cruising Conference 2025 1. GENERAL This conference is organised by the RYA for members of the cruising community. The RYA reserves the right to decline an application to attend the conference. The RYA may exclude a delegate from a particular session or request a delegate leave the premises if the delegate misconducts themselves or causes annoyance to others. 2. CANCELLATIONS Should you need to cancel your booking you must do so via email to the relevant contact on your booking confirmation. The RYA reserves the right to cancel any event in the case of insufficient number of delegates, local or national restrictions or otherwise, and may also make alterations to the programme, venues or timings at its absolute discretion. If the RYA postpones or re arranges the event, then your booking will be transferred to the new dates. Cancellation by the applicant: In the event of cancellation by yourself, you will be subject to the following conditions: Less than 1 weeks before the event – no refund will be applicable. More than 1 week before the event – you will receive a full refund of the ticket price. Cancellation by the RYA: The full conference fee, including any deposit will be returned. If the RYA cancels, postpones or re arranges the event the RYA will not be liable for any additional cost or loss you may incur as a result. 3. ACCESS REQUIREMENTS/DIETARY REQUIREMENTS You should advise us of any special access or dietary requirements at the time of registration. 4. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION Registration confirmation will be sent to you by email at least three days prior to the event. If you do not receive the registration information, you should contact us by email to joanne.wait@rya.org.uk. 5. SPEAKERS The programme is published for guidance only and may be changed. Views expressed by speakers are their own. RYA cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates. 6. PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING For promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the conference. If you do not wish to be filmed or recorded should make this known to the photographer and advise the organisers by email to joanne.wait@rya.org.uk prior to the event. 7. DATA PROTECTION The information provided in this form will be used to facilitate your participation in the conference. You acknowledge that the RYA and companies associated with the conference may contact you in connection with the conference when it is believed to be in your interest to do so. Your information will be used and stored in accordance with the RYA privacy policy, which is available at www.rya.org.uk/go/privacy. 8. AGREEMENT By proceeding to book for the Conference I agree to be bound by the above terms.
