Terms and Conditions for RYA Connected Events 2026 1. GENERAL RYA Connected events are organised by the RYA for RYA Affiliated Organisations, organisations in the process of affiliation, or those who have been invited. The RYA reserves the right to decline an application to attend. The RYA may exclude a delegate from a particular session or request a delegate leave the premises if the delegate misconducts themselves or causes annoyance to others. 2. CANCELLATIONS Should you need to cancel your booking you must do so via email to the relevant contact on your booking confirmation. The RYA reserves the right to cancel any event in the case of bad weather, insufficient number of delegates, equipment failure, local or national restrictions or otherwise, and may also make alterations to the programme, venues or timings at its absolute discretion. If the RYA postpones or re arranges the event then your booking will be transferred to the new dates. If the RYA cancels, postpones or re arranges the event the RYA will not be liable for any cost or loss you may incur as a result. 3. ACCESS REQUIREMENTS/DIETARY REQUIREMENTS You should advise us of any special access or dietary requirements at the time of registration. 4. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION Registration confirmation will be sent to you by email at least five days prior to the event. If you do not receive the registration information should contact us by email to connected@rya.org.uk. 5. SPEAKERS The programme is published for guidance only and may be changed. Views expressed by speakers are their own. RYA cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at an event or in any material provided to delegates. 6. PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING For promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the event. If you do not wish to be filmed or recorded, you should make this known to the photographer and advise the organisers by email to connected@rya.org.uk prior to the event. 7. DATA PROTECTION The information provided in this form will be used to facilitate your participation. You acknowledge that the RYA and companies associated with the event may contact you in connection with the event when it is believed to be in your interest to do so. Your information will be used and stored in accordance with the RYA privacy policy, which is available at https://www.rya.org.uk/compliance/privacy-security-and-data-protection/ 8. AGREEMENT By proceeding to book, I agree to be bound by the above terms.
