Thank you for your interest in the North West Instructor Training day
Our action packed Instructor Training Day takes place once again at Waterside Lodge, Southport. The purpose of the day is to help enable all instructors from the region to stay up to date with any changes to course delivery, as well as improve and develop your own instructional skills.
As always there are a wide variety of sessions to choose from, all delivered by the specialists from the regional training team. This year we have included a mixture of popular topics from previous years mixed with a range of new topics relevant to all disciplines.
Our morning session will include an RYA Training update from Rachel Andrews, RYA Chief Powerboat Instructor. You will also be able to choose a 1 hour session of your choice for the morning and a 2 hour session in the afternoon aimed at supporting your development as an instructor.
New for 2020 we will also have an employment hub, allowing you the chance to speak to local training centres about the opportunities they have for freelance and casual instructors during the season.
The cost of the day is just £25.00 and this includes tea/coffee & lunch. To encourage younger instructors we have 2 discounts in place; under 25’s pay a reduced fee of £17.50 and instructors under 18 pay just £5.00!
The day is available to all instructors from the region across all RYA disciplines
