Sail Measurement Course

About the Course: 

The sail measurement course is approved by world sailing in the training of sail measurers. This course is the perfect stepping stone for all aspiring measurers wanting to learn the skills associated with measuring in a standard class rules format. There will be some pre-course reading which will be sent out at least 2 weeks before the course. The course is a mix of theory and practical with a short quiz at the end.

Cancellation Policy

Payment: The full course fee is payable at the time of the booking.  A space on the course will only be confirmed once you have completed the online booking form and paid the fee. We do not accept provisional bookings. 

Cancellation by the applicant: If less than 2 weeks notice is given, that you are unable to attend the course, you will unfortunately not receive a refund. However, if we are able to replace your booking on the course, then we will offer you a refund, or transfer you to an alternative course.  

Cancellation by the RYA: The full course fee, including any deposit will be returned. The RYA will not be liable under any circumstances for any cost or loss incurred as a result of its failure to conduct a particular course. The RYA reserves the right to cancel any course in the event of bad weather, equipment failure or otherwise.
